Itinerary

This is an adventure on a bike that includes a visit to the Inca agricultural laboratory in Moray, a marvel of Inca engineering built to imitate several different microclimates.

We will walk our way on mountain bikes admiring the beautiful landscape of the colorful chacras (crops), mountains, we will also see the inhabitants in their daily tasks.

We will visit the white and bright stepped pools of salt in the town of Maras, then we will slide on our bikes for a descent of adrenaline towards Urubamba.

Our guide will pick you up from your hostel or place you indicate at 8:30 am to go to Chancadora (chinchero) in our tourist transport. From this place we descend, passing through the huaypo lagoon to Moray, an archaeological center where you will have a guided tour. After the box lunch we will head towards Maras in a rapid descent until we reach the Salt Mines. MARAS we will stop to appreciate the Inca salt mines and finally we will finish the descent we will arrive to Urubamba to go back to Cusco. The trip has a distance of 30 km and can be done in 5 hours approx.
